REMARKS: This trip is a good choice for the less experienced angler and offers the opportunity to fish alongside the more experienced members, or to fish alone.   It will be an early start as fishing is best before first light and at dusk.

GETTING THERE::  The park is located on the Eastern Shore side of the CBBT.  After you pass the toll booth on the other side, the park entrance will be a few miles on the left.  Enter the park and go to the end parking lot.  NOTE:  The toll for the CBBT is $17.00 round trip.

FACILITIES::  The park does have a $4.00 per vehicle fee.  There are porta-potties in the park area.  The club will rent a covered pavilion for use during the day.  Camping is available in the park for those wanting to stay overnight.

FOOD:  Anglers should plan on providing their own lunch, snacks, and beverages for the trip.  The pavilion has a grill if you desire to cook, bring charcoal and lighter fluid.

COSTS:  Anglers must possess a Valid Virginia Saltwater License.  Anglers should also anticipate sharing the fuel and travel costs with the carpool/ caravan drivers.  There is a $17.00 round-trip fare for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, additional cost per axle if trailering a boat.
